Best Teacher Rolling Bag
Over the years I’ve seen teachers with a laptop backpack, shoulder bag, large tote, or even a rolling suitcase. It’s important to all of us that we are able to get our teaching materials home and back again as needed without breaking our backs in the process. I’m always on the hunt for practical sturdy bags with lots of pockets. I used to lean towards neutral colors, but lately I’ve been switching it up with some really colorful ones and fun patterns. Totally up to you what you choose!
If you’re looking for our favorite teacher bag, head to this blog post that counts down our favorite backpacks. We chose the best bag, a perfect laptop bag, and a Vera Bradley backpack.
Best Work Bag

This is my personal favorite teacher rolling bag. I think it’s such a good choice because of the easy access, an insulated pocket for water bottles, and a spacious interior. You can easily slide the bag off of the rolling cart and it becomes a handbag or over the shoulder style. It features comfortable straps and a padded laptop compartment. I also love the quilted exterior and think it adds so much style to this one! I love having a ton of pockets, and this bag definitely delivers. A+ for fitting the needs of teachers!
There are two zipper choices, so make sure to select the one you like most. Why do zipper colors make such an impact? I have no idea, but it really does change the whole look! This is definitely our pick for the best teacher rolling bag.
Best teacher rolling bag – favorite Overall Bag

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention HULKEN brand bags. Do you ever need help getting everything into the school building? Well, these are your answer. These things truly are impressive. I get compliments almost every time someone sees me pulling all of my teaching essentials into school. I went back and forth about whether or not I needed one. My sister was with me and she reminded me how helpful it would be at the indoor craft fairs we go to. There is an event we never miss that takes place for 3 days each year in Nashville called Christmas Village. When she mentioned how helpful it would be, I decided to go for it. Guess how many times I’ve regretted that decision? You guessed it! Not once.
You can seriously fit an enormous amount of stuff in there so it makes a great work bag. I’ll go through stages where I leave it in the back of my car filled with things I know we will need in the upcoming weeks. It’s also so easy to roll back and forth to school and in and out of your house. Be sure to check out the different sizes and shades, but I promise this is one choice you won’t regret. I often have several boxes filled with center activities, my lunch plus all three kids’ lunches, water bottles, snacks, etc. If we need it that day, it fits in there. You can also fold these up pretty compactly when you aren’t using them.
There are a variety of colors to choose from. I went through a phase where I wanted everything to be a rose gold color and I’ve never really gotten tired of that shade.

I have a pink one, but I really love this purple. This one has the perfect mix of style.

I also love this black one. It’s such a classic color.
Best Teacher Tote Bags

I think the average school teacher tends to use some type of large teacher tote bag. I encourage you to look back at the first one mentioned to save your back when needed. However, I too tend to lean towards using a tote bag. It’s such a practical storage solution for most of us.
Last year I was able to host a leadership retreat with a friend for an administrative team. There were 6 ladies at the retreat. They were from a school in Ohio. We focused on team building and roles for the upcoming school year. We were able to purchase a tote for each one and this is the one I chose for them. I grabbed them in a variety of colors. I filled them with gifts and they had ample space to really pack quite a bit in.

These bags have adjustable straps, a toiletry bag, and that same quilted fabric that I love. You can check out all of the colors to see which one you prefer. I like this taupe color above because of the versatility of it. It can really go with browns or blacks. Be careful that sometimes the price changes pretty dramatically when you select a different color, so keep that in mind.
Best Fanny Pack

You know, fanny packs have grown on me lately. I loved them as a kid, but then I went through a stage thinking they were dorky. I’m starting to really enjoy having one again and think they make the perfect companion to a teacher. I often wear it over one shoulder, but I do sometimes fasten it around my waist. I LOVE the color of this blue one above. There are so many colors to choose from!

How adorable is this grape purple one? You can fill it with all kinds of things. Have you ever tried the smelly chapstick rewards? When kids are working hard, you can give them a swipe on the back of their hands with one. The kids love trying to guess what the smell is and they immediately puff up a little with pride.
You can also fill a fanny pack with some little treats or prizes.
I would love to hear in the comments which type of bag you are using this year!
